Announcing the Springfield School District’s 2nd Annual K-12 Podcasting Competition Winners

The 2nd Annual Podcasting Competition is a celebration of student creativity and innovation and promotes a world-wide voice through the use of technology. This year, the podcasting competition was held online and submissions represented classroom projects.

Each of the three classes highlighted for their work in the podcasting competition are receiving an iPod Nano and Mikey, an iPod recording device. Congratulations to this year's winners!

High School: Ginny Hoke’s Thurston HS Lit 10 Students — ColtCast Book Trailers
The book trailer podcasts created by students during first and second trimesters were both interesting and unique. The blend of student voices, background music, and special effects made for some very intriguing podcasts. Who knows, one of these podcasts might just provoke you to pick up something new to read.
