Downloading and Installing Firefox
If you are having problems accessing web sites or online surveys, it may be because you are using an outdated browser. Many of these problems can be eliminated by downloading and using Firefox as your primary web browser.
You can download Firefox from the Internet or from the district's server (which will be faster).
Connect to the district server by selecting Go/Connect to Server...

Enter the server address:
smb://file1/software/macintosh/Firefox

Click Connect
Enter your email username and password when prompted:

Drag the Firefox dmg file to your desktop

Once downloaded, double click the dmg file
This will mount the Firefox drive on your desktop

Double click the Firefox drive and you will see the following:

Click and drag the Firefox icon into your APPLICATIONS folder

Once it has copied to your Applications folder, you can throw away the dmg and firefox disk from the Desktop.

You can then access Firefox from the Applications folder. Drag to to your Dock for easier access.
